LAS VEGAS—Cason Wallace impressed in his Oklahoma City Thunder debut, leading the team to a 90-81 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in their NBA Summer League opener on Sunday.
After scoring Oklahoma City's first basket of the game, Wallace went on a scoring run in the second quarter, draining three consecutive 3-pointers. He finished with a game-high 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting from the field.
The Thunder's bench provided a strong contribution, with Isaiah Roby adding 16 points, Jaylin Williams scoring 14, and Lindy Waters III chipping in 11. The Mavericks were led by Tyrell Terry's 20 points and Marques Bolden's 18.
