A Curse for the Swindler

Verse 1:14

In 114 the Lord says, "But cursed be the swindler who has a male in his flock and vows it, but sacrifices a defective animal to me." For I am a great king," says the Lord Almighty, "and my name is to be feared among the nations."

Conclusion

This verse teaches us that God is not pleased with those who are dishonest or deceptive. He expects us to keep our promises and to give Him our best. When we fail to do this, we bring a curse upon ourselves.
