Synopsis
Und Jimmy ging zum Regenbogen (And Jimmy went to the rainbow's foot) is a 1971 West German film directed by Alfred Vohrer and starring Alain Noury, Horst Tappert, Konrad Georg, and Horst Frank. The film is based on the 1970 novel of the same name by Johannes Mario Simmel.
The film tells the story of Rafaelo Aranda (Noury), an Argentinian chemist who is in Vienna to give a lecture. One day, he is approached by Valerie Steinfeld (Tappert), a book dealer who claims to know him. Aranda is initially skeptical, but Steinfeld eventually convinces him that she is telling the truth.
